Blazer Mid LR debuted this spring and made appearances in London with a Tinie Tempah collabo and an Olympic Medal Stand makeup, and has now aged enough that they re coming through with themed variations. The latest LunarLon Blazer Mids arrive with luxurious leather uppers embellished by a kiltie that ll remind experienced sneakerheads of 2006 s Dunk Low SB Golf Pack . These come from the Swoosh s reorganized Action Sports division ready for skate as well as the colder weather as evidenced by their boot-like upper eyelets, and you ll find these available today at shops like Size?
Nike Sportswear s 1Thology app for Facebook lets you track over a thousand historical Air Force 1 colorways based on whether you own or want them, and here s a new release that should at some point be relevant to both of those lists. The want part comes now as the Nike Air Force 1 Low appears in Dark Grey leather with an October release date. You ll have to wait about a month before this supremely neutral Uptown shows up at NSW retailers, but you can already technically add its mix of leather textures to your own personal own list when you make a pre-order
2011 s Nike SB Dunk Low Space Jam was deemed one of the thirty best kicks of the year (according to our own list) will the Concord version crack that list in 2013? Here s a first clean look at the Nike SB Dunk Low Concord that we showed you a teaser shot of just a few days ago; the white nylon is paired with piano
black patent leather with white leather on the Swoosh to complete the easygoing Concord appeal. Some details to notice: The outsole on this version is a solid grey rather than the translucent ice and the laces appear to be the classic fat Nike SB laces rather than the roped version seen on the Air Jordan XI. This sample, however, does appear to be a GS size, so the men s size release could be a bit closer to the 2011 Space Jam Dunk. A full shot is just ahead, so take a look and give us your thoughts on this 2013 Nike SB release.
The Nike Air Max 90 is at home in a variety of different colorways and blocking patterns, highlights of which include the Infrared/Laser Blue OG look, aggressive high-contrast styles and almost anything you could think of involving
dark navy blues. Case in point: this new Air Max 90 slated to arrive at Nike Sportswear retailers next month. They bear a striking similarity to a pair that released just under a year ago, but subtle changes in the blocking and a new material distribution makes these a viable option if not a must-have to round out your standby rotation. While you were able to relax and enjoy the day off the Sneaker News team made sure that it wasn t a slow one in terms of your favorite footwear, keeping you updated on all the pertinent news out there for the three day weekend and well into the no-wearing-white season. The epic ShoeZeum makes its new home in Las Vegas with our guys on the ground covering the event. The LeBron X keeps poking its head up, the latest getting away from the Heat for a moment with a chilly blue look. Elsewhere in signature sneakers Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul both get a surprise release date for their next iterations with Jordan Brand. A custom creator cuts up his pair of Air Jordan IV s and pours milk inside them (don t try this at home). Nike SB plants itself firmly in the headlines once again with another obvious Air Jordan-esque pair, with collaborator Brooklyn Projects whipping up a Concord looking Dunk Low.
Closing out this week of Classics Revisited isn t one particular pair of the Air Force 1 Low, but a concentrated capsule of Forces that pay tribute to five countries competing in the 2006 World Cup. 1 of the World Cup Pack featured a custom insole that displayed imagery of each country s football kit, and inside each box was a small booklet detailing the teams of the 2006 World Cup. 2006 saw plenty of Football-themed releases, like the Japan Club Kashima Antlers Pack and other country-specific Nike Dunk Lows. Nike iD also featured the five countries as part of the customizable options. We ve got a look at the entire set of the 2006 World Cup Pack, so take a look and let us know
